A.O. Hagen Dies Of Heart Disease At Home Monday
A.O. Hagen, of 112 West Lincolnway, passed away at his home at 5:45 p.m. Monday, of heart disease, from which he had been suffereing for some time.
He war 68 years of age and was born November 1, 1875, in Norway. He came to Story County 57 years ago. A farmer by trade he had retired several years ago.
Mr. Hagen was united in marriage with Miss Ellen Joanson on July 16, 1900, at Cambridge, Ia.
His funeral will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Adams Chapel. Burial will be in the Roland Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, four sons, Martin and Jeffry of Ames, Elmer of Ontario and Corp. Lester Hagen of Battlecreek, Mich; two daughters, Anna and Agnes Hagen, of Ames; by one brother, Martin, of North Dakota, and 11 grandchildren.
