Karen M. Holder, 69, of Nevada, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Memorial graveside services are pending with Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada.

Karen Mae Holder, 69, of Nevada, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.Graveside memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, in Nevada Municipal Cemetery with Pastor David Burling officiating.

Karen was born March 22, 1940, in Nevada, to Wayne and Inda (Bales) Biddle. She was employed at 3M in Ames for 22 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting.

She is survived by two daughters, Ginny Settle and Dawn Kelton, and one son, Dallas Eyanson, all of Nevada; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Craig “Wishbone” Settle on Sept. 15, 2009.

A memorial fund has been established in Karen’s name.

Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada has been entrusted with Karen and her family.
