OBITUARY

Miss Jennie Jones was born in Radnesshire, (sic Radnorshire) England, June 13, 1886 and died at the home of Major Dunahoo, near this place, August 15, 1906, aged twenty years, two months and two days.

At the age of six years she came to America with her mother, and thence to Iowa. Until about seventeen years of age she made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Abner Beach. Her nearest relatives are, William Jones and family, he being a great uncle, Mrs. Beach, Mrs. Mary Pritchard, Mrs. Ellen Byers and William Matthews.

In December 1905 Miss Jones was converted and united with the Evangelical church at Iowa Center. She remained faithful to the trust committed to her by her Lord and Master. Her kindness and love to those around her won for her a host of friends, who with the relatives mourn her loss.

The funeral was held in the church at Iowa Center August 17th, being in charge of the pastor, Rev. D.C. Busenburg and interment was made in the Iowa Center cemetery.
