Milford Girl Died Sunday

Miss Mabel Hovland, 19 years old, died of sarcoma Sunday morning at her home south of town in Milford Township, having been ill since last November. She took ill while in the last year of a course at Iowa State Teacher's College at Cedar Falls.

Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Lutheran Church in Ames. Burial was made in the cemetery at Story City.

Miss Hovland is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O.J. Hovland, and three sisters, Anna, Louise and Marie, all at home.
