THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, April 3, 2009.

Jameson Patrick O’Connor, 20, of Huxley, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009, near Huxley. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Elkhart. Burial will be in the Cambridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 3, at the Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell. A vigil service will be at 7:30 p.m.

Jameson was born July 25, 1988, in Des Moines, the son of Patrick and Suzette (Brown) O’Connor. He graduated from Collins-Maxwell High School in 2007. He graduated from Great Northwestern Guide Services as a certified guide for outfitters. He was a metal fabricator for C and K Heating and Cooling. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Elkhart and the Story County Chapter of Pheasants Forever. Jameson loved trout fishing, fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, mechanics and camping. Jameson loved the outdoors.

Jameson is survived by his mother and stepfather, Suzette (Kris) Bartleson, of Cambridge; his father and stepmother, Patrick (Gail) O’Connor, of Huxley; three sisters, Karinda (Trent) Lentell, Aubrey Bartleson, and Karley Bartleson, all of Cambridge; a brother, Brayden Bartleson, of Cambridge; maternal grandparents, Linda Brown, of Riceville, and Jim Brown, of Ignacio, Colo.; paternal grandparents, Timothy O’Connor, of Glenwood, and Judy O’Connor, of Newton; and two nieces, Kadence O’Connor and McKinlie Lentell.

Jameson will be missed by his family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Jameson O’Connor Memorial Fund.

The Bacon Funeral Home of Maxwell is in charge of arrangements.
