Mrs. Clarence Webb, Daughter Of Ames People, Dies in Cal.
Mrs. Clarence Webb, 53, daughter of Mrs. James Miller, Oakland avene, died Wednesday evening at 6 o'clock at her home in Santa Monica, Cal. She had been in ill health since an operation was performed a year ago last February.
Born in Boone county on the Miller homestead, Mrs. Webb went to California to make her home after her marriage there. She had visited in Ames on numerous occasions, the last time being a year ago last summer.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Fay Webb Vallee, two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Ramsey of Ames and Mrs. Nora Davidson of Boone, and four brothers, Elmer, Oliver and Earl of Ames, and James of near Boone.
It is expected that funeral services and burial will be held in Santa Monica.
