MRS. MARY GORD OF SLATER DIES FRIDAY

SLATER —Mrs. Mary Gord, 65, died Friday morning at her home here of pneumonia following influenza.

Mrs. Gord was born in Cambridge and spent her entire life in that community and in Slater. Mr. Gord died three years ago.

Surviving are eight children, Harry Gord of Ames, Terrance of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. E. C. Hoinke and Sadie Gord of Cincinnati, O., Oney Gord of Des Moines, Charles, Jennings and Bert of Slater.

Funeral services will he held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the Bethlehem church with the Rev. E. R. Rorem in charge. Burial will be in the Bethlehem cemetery.
