FORMER AMES MAN DIES IN S. DAKOTA

Mose Lee, 75, former Story county resident and brother of Allen Lee of Ames died Wednesday morning in a hospital at Mitchell, S. D., after an extended illness.

Mr. Lee, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Lee of Cambridge, was born and raised in Story county and resided here until 25 years ago when he and his wife moved to Forrestburg, S. D. Mrs. Lee died five years ago and since that time Mr. Lee had made his home with his son, Ralph, at Forrestburg.

Mr. Lee had been in ill health for the past two years. Five weeks ago he was taken to the hospital suffering with gangrene in his foot. Two amputations were performed and he was thot to be recovering when his condition became serious.

Surviving are four children, Murl of Artesian, S. O., Mrs. Mildred Robert and Ralph of Forrestburg and Orpha of Mitchell, S. D., one brother, Allen Lee Of Ames and other relatives in Story county.

Funeral services are to be held Friday in South Dakota.
