HENRY KAMMIN OF STORY CITY DIES

STORY CITY - Henry Kammin, 57, died at midnight Wednesday evening in a Boone hospital following a six weeks' illness of pleurisy following influenza. Mr. Kammin was operated on Tuesday morning. He was taken to the hospital Monday.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Grace Evangelical church with the Rev. C. L. Fuller in charge. Burial will be in the Center cemetery west of Story City.

Mr. Kammin was a farmer, having operated a farm five miles west of Story City for the last 32 years.

He was born April 10, 1872, in Cook county, Ill.

Besides his wife, four children, all of the Story City community, survive. They are: Charles, Raymond, Mrs. Edna James and Mrs. Hazel Johnson. Eight brothers and sisters also survive. They are: William, August and Martin of Boone, Chris of Story City; Mrs. Mary Ahrens and Mrs. Lena Erick of Blue Earth, Minn.; Mrs. Winnie Hegge of Boone and Mrs. Pete Nieman of Tinley Park, Ill.
