Mother of Verne L. Meyers Is Dead

Mrs. Sarah Parker, 70, mother of Verne L. Meyers, 122 East Ninth street, died Friday morning at her home in Muncie, Ind. Mr. Meyers has.been at Muncie for the past week. Mrs. Meyers will leave for Lisbon Saturday where funeral services will be held Sunday.

Mr. Meyers is a member of the present Ames city council altho he was not a candidate for re-election.

Besides Mr. Meyers, a son Ralph Meyers of San Diego, Cal., and a daughter Mrs. Blanche Jump, survive.
