William Black Rites Held Wed.

Funeral services for William Black, 73, longtime employe and resident of the Story county home, were held at 10:30 Wednesday morning at the Nevada cemetery.

Mr. Black died Monday afternoon at the state hospital at Iowa City, where he had gone less than a week ago for an operation.

Some years ago Mr. Black was taken to the home as an inmate but later took a position as fireman.
