AMES DAILY TRIBUNE-TIMES, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, February 13, 1930.

MRS. MARY J. SCOTT DIES HERE WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Mary. J. Scott 73, died at her apartment at S15 Burnett avenue, Wednesday morning following a heart attack.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Adam chapel here with burial in the Ontario cemetery. It is thot that the Rev. L. Myron Boozer will be in charge of the services.

Mrs. Scott was the husband of the late George Scott who died in 1920. The Scotts were pioneers of the Ontario neighborhood and for many years operated a farm near there. Previous to Mr. Scott's death they moved to Ames. Mrs. Scott took an apartment and lived alone following the death of her husband.

One daughter, Mrs. George Truesdale of West Third Street, Ames, survives. Other surviving relatives include; four brothers, Frank, A. L. and George Cameron all of Ames, and Will Cameron of Spirit Lake; two sisters, Mrs. O. M. Briley of Ames, and Mrs. Graff Livingston of Boone; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
