Died Nov. 14, 2002

Verna Charlene Arrasmith, 81, of Zearing, died of a heart ailment on Thursday, Nov. 14, at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.

She was born in Hubbard and lived her entire life at Zearing. She was a homemaker and housewife and a member of the Zearing Christian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Dee Arrasmith of Ames and cousins, Carol Larson of Radcliffe, Mildred Radohl of Radcliffe, Delores Severson of Cedar Rapids, Phyllis Ites of Iowa Falls and Junior Prescott of Ackley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Earl Arrasmith on April 29, 1993.

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 18, at the Zearing Christian Church. Burial was in the Lincoln Township Cemetery, Zearing. Fredregill Funeral Home, Zearing, handled arrangements.

Mrs. Verna Charlene Arrasmith, 81, Zearing, passed away at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002, of a heart ailment.

Services were Monday, Nov. 18 at the Zearing Christian Church in Zearing with burial following at the Lincoln Township Cemetery in Zearing.
