MRS. BORN PASSED AWAY
While returning from Colorado, to which place she had gone with her husband in the hope that the climate would improve her health, Mrs. John Born of this city passed away Tuesday, while on board a Northwestern passenger train near Boone.
Mrs. Born had been an invalid for many years and the family had gone to California for her health, but the climate seemed to do her no good and she and her husband started to make the long journey home. She stood the long, tedious trip fairly well, but expired as the train was nearing Boone, Iowa.
The remains were brought to this city at once and the funeral was conducted at Pleasant Grove church in Milford township, Friday morning (July 30) at eleven o'clock.--Ames Times.
