Olive Adeline Teig, 97, formerly of Roland died Nov. 6, 2007 in Amery Wisconsin. Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 at Bergen Lutheran Church in Roland. Burial was in the
Roland Cemetery.

Olive was born Dec. 27, 1909 Callendar, Iowa the daughter of Arthur and Tina (Larson) Hovick. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith in Iowa. On Dec. 31, 1933 she was united in marriage to Mons Teig in Roland, Iowa. They made their home there and to this union four children were born. She was active in many things such as selling Avon Products, doing house keeping for families and she also worked at a Turkey Processing Plant for a period of time. About nine years ago she moved to Evergreen Village in Amery,
Wisconsin which allowed her to be closer to her three sons.

Olive was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Mons; daughter, Karen; brothers: John, Milo, Harold, and Richard as well as two young sisters.

Left to celebrate her life are her sons; Mons Teig, Loren Teig, and Dave Teig, brothers, Raymond and Theroy Hovick; sister, Alvina Olson; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to Waldorf College or Lake Wapogasset Bible Camp.
