DeLillian Peterson, age 97, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007 at Bethany Manor in Story City. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2007 at the Bethany Manor Chapel in Story City. Burial followed at the Story City Cemetery in Story City. Visitation was was one hour prior to services at Bethany Manor. Memorial gifts may be given to Bethany Life Foundation Chaplaincy Fund and their Good Samaritan Fund. Becker Funeral and Cremation Service of Jewell have been entrusted with arrangements.

DeLillian Irene Erickson was born March 21, 1910 in Brewster, Minnesota to Amos and Ella (Tynning) Erickson. The family moved to a farm on the south edge of Jewell in 1915. She graduated from Jewell High School in 1927. On June 18, 1942 Del married Lloyd Peterson. They farmed west of Story City. Lloyd died on May 10, 1989. Del was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell.

Del is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, Palmer Erickson, Sr., Elmer Erickson, and Tilmen Erickson; and sisters, Mamie Erickson, Elvina Frette, and a sister in infancy.
