Donna V. Ose, 91, of Collins, died Saturday, Aug. 25, at Story County Long Term Care in Nevada.

Donna V. Ose was born Aug. 23, 1915, in Jasper County, the daughter of Donald Simpson and Vera Estella (Eatwell) Huntrods. She was united in marriage to Lt. Keith Truman Ose on June 13, 1943, at Ft. McClellan, Ala. He preceded Donna in death Nov. 22, 1944. She was a school teacher and had taught at Rhodes, Zearing, Grundy Center and Collins. She had also earned a degree in mountaineering from Boulder, Colo. She was a member of the Collins United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a sister, Lucille White, of Nevada; and three brothers, William "Bill" Huntrods, of Collins, Roger Huntrods, of Collins, and Donald Huntrods, of St. Charles.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and four sisters, Iris Lawson, Mary Lee Huntrods, Margaret Struthers and Myrl Lauffer.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, at the Collins United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Collins Evergreen Cemetery. There will be no visitation prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to Story County Long term Care.
