Bonnie J. Calderwood, 85, of Ames, died Tuesday, May 8, at Israel Family Hospice House. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 10, at Collegiate Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Whit Malone officiating. Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 10, at Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Bonnie J. Calderwood was born July 17, 1921, in Bogard, Mo., to Edward S. and Ica Dora (Mullikin) Gregg. She received a bachelor's. degree in home economics and a master's. degree in history. She was a teacher in Mount Ayr and at Boone Jr. College. She married F. Wayne Calderwood May 20, 1945, in Mount Ayr.

She was a member of Collegiate Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband; three sons, David, of Oregon, Gregg (Pam), of Iowa, and Philip, of Texas; four grandchildren, Collin, Sarah, Dan and Andy; and one great-grandchild, Walter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and two brothers.

Memorials may be given to Collegiate Presbyterian Church.

Adams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
