Mrs J. W. Lanning passed away at the family home on Boone street Saturday night following a stroke of apoplexy which she suffered earlier in the week. Funeral services will be conducted from the home at two o'clock tomorrow afternoon by Rev Thuresson of the Methodist Church. Relatives from out of town called here by the death: Mrs. D. L. Stick of Chicago, Mrs Esther Sullivan of Stuart, Iowa; Mrs H. M. Gates of Kozsta, Iowa; Mrs Florence M. Carr of Chicago, all sisters of the deceased. Mr and Mrs C. C. Morrison of Chicago, Mr and Mrs T. L. Gossard of Onawa, and a brother E. G. Marcellus and wife of Koszta were here Friday. The body will lie in state preceding the funeral.
