Mrs Haverly Died Suddenly Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon at 5 o'clock Mrs C. E. Haverly died at her home in this city, the cause being a complication of diseases. While Mrs Haverly had been in poor health for some time she had only been seriously ill the past two or three days. Her death is a shock to all her many friends in Ames. Mrs Haverly is survived by her husband Captain C. E. Haverly, Harry, Frank and John Haverly and three daughters, Mrs Elmer Coffin, Mrs. C. B. Nelson and Mrs Arthur Foster, Grand Junction, Colorado. All the children were present when their mother died, except Mrs Foster who was on her way here. The funeral will be held from the home on Boone Street Friday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. T. E. Thuresson of the ME church to be in charge. Sarah E. Lanning Haverly - August 18, 1844 - April 7, 1944
