THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, December 2, 2005.

Martha Larson, 96, of Jewell, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, at Abington on Grand in Ames. Funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Jewell. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Martha Larson was born Aug. 4, 1909, in rural Jewell to parents Hans and Hattie (Elsner) Larson. She was a lifetime resident of the Jewell area.

She is survived by one sister, Christina Baldus of Jewell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Edward and Raymond.
