Mr. Severeide was a very fine Christian man who held the respect and admiration of all who knew him. Having found peace with God, he lived a faithful Christian life and attended the Immanuel Lutheran church of Story City until his health failed him. We thank God for what he was for his dear ones and fellowmen. Blessed be his memory.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Dec. 22, in the Immanuel church, following the prayer service at the home of Mr. Severeide's son, Lester, where the deceased had made his home during his declining years. The pallbearers were Silas Espe, Ole Roth, Edward Peterson, Oliver Alsager, Nels Fatland and Henry Hovland. Vocal selections were rendered by Mrs. Benj.
