Funeral Rites Held at Maxwell for Bobbie Schauper
Maxwell, Dec. 13 -- Funeral rites were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Presbyterian church with Rev. C. E. Burdine, pastor of the church in charge. The floral offerings were very beautiful. With Mrs. C. H. Larson at the piano Mrs. J. B. Scott and Mrs. C. J. Kirk sang "That Sweet Story of Old" and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus." The casket was carried by the uncles, four brothers of Mrs. Schauper. Burial was made in the Maxwell cemetery.
The pastor read in part: Robert James Schauper, youngest child of Harold and Esther Schauper, was born in Maxwell, Nov. 26, 1937 and passed away on Dec. 9, 1940, aged 3 years and 13 days. He had been in failing health the past three months, but for a short time seemed to be responding to treatment until the past week he steadily failed until the end came Monday night. He leaves two brothers Gerald and Harold Jr., two sisters Jeanette and Evelyn; his parents and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Goodman Hall of Ellsworth, besides many uncles, aunts and cousins to mourn his going.
