Funeral Services Wednesday for Mrs. J. W. Duesburg [sic]

Collins, Jan. 30--Funeral services for Mrs. J. W. Duesbury, 67, Collins woman who died at the Deaconess hospital in Marshalltown Sunday afternoon will be held at the Estel Funeral home in Marshalltown Wednesday at 1:30 p. m., after which the body will be brought to Evergreen cemetery here for burial.

Death of this farm wife who with the family had lived around this community for 23 years, was due to a malignant disease, following an operation she had submitted to.

She was born Eva May Fisher Nov. 15, 1872, in Whiteside county, Illinois. At the age of 8 years she moved with her parents to Iowa, settling in Story County. The family moved to Marshall county in 1882. She was married to J. W. Duesbury, Dec. 8, 1910, in Omaha. After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Duesbury moved to Colo, living there two years before moving to Montecello, Minn., residing there three years, and then moving to Collins.

Surviving are the widower, two sons, Orlan and Thomas Duesbury of Collins, five brothers and two sisters Lee, Kester and Arthur Fisher, and Mrs. Winnie Johnson, all of Marshalltown, Mrs. Nellie Cunningham and Edwin Fisher of Albion, and Parmer Fisher of Perry. Three sons preceded her in death.

Mrs. Duesbury was a member of the United Brethren Church of Mingo.
