Death's Heavy Hand Felt in Many Homes

MRS. ANN JACOBSON DIED IN CHICAGO

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Immanuel Lutheran church for Mrs. Anna Jacobson, 73, who died at her home in Chicago Sunday noon. A short service at 1 p.m. at the home of her son, Ole O. Jacobson, near Gilbert, preceded the church service. Burial was made in the South St. Petri cemetery.

Mrs. Jacobson had been bedfast for a year as the result of a broken hip. Until 10 years ago she lived in Story City. Since moving she has made her home in California and Chicago with her children.

Surviving are the following children: Ole O. Jacobson, near Gilbert; Mrs. Fred Emmons, California; Carl Jacobson and Eva Jacobson, Chicago. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Jacob S. Jacobson and Dan Jacobson, Gilbert; Nels Jacobson and Mrs. O. W. Briley of Ames.
