Funeral of Idellys Olson

The funeral of Idellys Ann Olson, six year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Olson, was held at the Bethel church last Thursday afternoon, Rev. Paulsrud officiating. The pallbearers were: Robert and Darrel Larson, Duane Doolittle, Delbert Johnson, Hubert Doolittle and Cecil Henderson. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Schrieber of Kenyon, Minn., sang at the house service and at the church.

Those from a distance at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ben Schrieber of Kenyon, Minn., Mrs. T. B. Olson of Northwood, Mrs. Ole Enderland of Thompson and Palmer Olson of Bedford.

A service had been held at Kenyon, Minn., the day before, with Rev. Otto Jacobson officiating and also reading the little poem that was a favorite of Idellys, "Take Me As I Am."

Idellys Ann was born in Ames Dec. 20, 1927, and died at the age of 5 years, 11 months and 23 days at the St. Luke hospital in Faribault, Minn. She was baptized Jan. 22, 1928, in Ames by Rev. Pierson. She leaves to mourn her early departure her parents and brother Danny besides a host of relatives and friends. Idellys was a loving disposition and her sunny smile will be greatly missed by those who knew her and loved her.
