Raymond Harvey Crawford

Raymond Harvey Crawford was born Sept. 3, 1893 in Story County the son of Mary Elizabeth and James Harvey Crawford. He graduated from Gilbert High School and taught at the Cameron School.

He farmed in the Gilbert Community for 44 years. He and Genevieve Rainbolt were married June 24, 1915, in Story County.

Mr. Crawford died March 3, 1958 at the age of 64 years and 6 months.

He is survived by his wife, a son, Burnie; a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Brown; his mother; two grandsons, Gary and Ronald; and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were held Mar. 6th at 2 p. m. at the Adams Funeral Home with the Rev. Harry Ehlers of the Gilbert Congregational Church, officiating.

Burial was in the Gilbert Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dave Gibson, Floyd Bennett, Harold Rose, Ernest Clouser, Sid McCoy and Gilbert Bentley.
