OBITUARIES

Mrs. Ingeborg Annon was born at Olen, Norway, May 5, 1846, and died in Story City April 28, 1918, being thus at the time of her death a little over 72 years of age.

She came to this country with her parents in 1857, and they made their home in Dane county, Wisconsin. In 1866 she was married to George Annon, and the following year she and her husband moved to Sheldahl, Iowa. Mr. Annon died in 1889.

Seven children were born to Mrs. Annon, five of whom died at an early age. One son died at the age of 23 years, her sole surviving child being Mrs. H. H. Lundy of this place.

After her husband's death, Mrs. Annon lived for some years both in Sheldahl and Cambridge. About six years ago she moved to Story City, where she made her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lundy, with whom she was well cared for until death suddenly removed her to the better land.

Besides her daughter, Mrs. Annon leaves two brothers and one sister to mourn her death, namely, Ole O. Halverson, Halver O. Halverson and Mrs. Malinde Queensland; also two grandchildren.

Mrs. Annon was known as a good neighbor and kindly dispositioned friend. She had been converted at an early age and retained a lively faith in her Saviour to the end. Her memory will prove a blessing to those who loved her best.
