OBITUARY

Miss Emma Durby

Emma Durby was born March 9, 1897, and died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Durby, in Story City, May 9, 1918, aged 21 years and two months. She took sick the first of the year but not seriously so until about two weeks before her death. All that loving hands could devise was done for her, but to no avail. She was resigned to leaving this world, and trusted in her Lord for her soul's welfare.

She leaves to mourn her early departure, her parents, four brothers and sisters, all of whom were present at the funeral, which was held in the Immanuel church Monday afternoon.
