OBITUARY.

Anna Katrina Nelson was born in Denmark, February 20th, 1878 and died in Story City, March 3d, 1905, at the age of twenty-seven years. November 15th, 1899, she was married to Nels Martins and in 1902 the couple moved to this country, coming direct to Chicago where they made their home for a short time; they afterward moved to Webster City where Mr. Martins has been employed by the Cash Tailoring Company.

Mrs. Martins was a victim of consumption, the first symptoms of that dreadful disease appearing about six months go. Everything possible was done for her but the last few months she failed very rapidly--death occurring last Friday morning. She bore her suffering uncomplainingly and met her fate with rare fortitude.

The husband and little son Swena Aago, mother, six sisters, Mrs. N. M. Nelson, Mrs. John Anderson, Sena and Elizabeth Nelson of this place, two sisters and three brothers of Chicago are left to mourn her loss.

The funeral services were held at the Nelson house Sunday at 1:30 p. m. and at the Bethel church at 2 o'clock. The services were conducted by Rev. Paulsrud of Randall. The remains were laid to rest in the Story City cemetery.
