DEATH OF MRS. FLATTEBO.

Mrs. Annie Flattebo died last Monday noon at Glynn, Nebraska at the age of 78. She had been failing for the last few months.

She was born in Rosendal, Norway, at which place she was married to Jens Flattebo. In the year of 1865 they emigrated to America and came to Clinton County, Ia., where they stayed for about two years, and then came to Story City, where they bought a farm. Mr. Jens Flattebo died in 1897. Mrs. Flattebo stayed on the farm until 4 years ago, when she moved into town. She lived here until a year ago when she moved to Glynn, Nebraska, and lived with her daughter, Mrs. Hall.

She is survived by 3 children, 2 sons, John and Jens, and one daughter, Mrs. Hall.

The remains were brought to Story City, and the funeral service was held Thursday afternoon at the South St. Petri Church, Rev. Heimarck officiating. The interment took place at the South St. Petri cemetery.
