MRS. REED IS NO MORE.

Mrs. William Reed, whose serious illness was mentioned in the Herald last week, passed away at her home in Nevada just after noon on Tuesday, Dec. 24, after an illness of some ten days with heart trouble. The funeral was held Thursday morning at the Friends church, after which the remains were taken to Collins for interment.

Maggie Fry was born on February 9, 1862, in Story county, near Iowa Center, and died December 24, 1907, aged 45 years, 10 months and 15 days. On April 4, 1895, she was married to William Reed at Maxwell. To this union four children were born. They are Freddie, Charles, Millie (who departed this life about four years ago) and Maude R.

Her death was under the most distressing circumstances and brings a pall of sorrow over the entire community.
