MRS. CHRIS SAMPSON

Mrs. Chris Sampson, who died last Thursday morning, was buried on Saturday, the funeral services being held in the Immanuel church. Rev. Heimarck preached a touching sermon from the words of Zechariah:

"But it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light."

Mrs. Lena Sampson was born in Bromnes, Norway, 65 years ago. She was married to Chris Sampson 39 years ago. She had 4 children, all of whom have preceded her to the better land.

She came from Norway in 1892 and has lived in Story City ever since. Her father, Lars Dale, died only two years ago. Three brothers survive her, namely, Chris, Lars and Tom Dale, and her husband is left to mourn her departure and cherish her memory.
