FUNERAL OF MRS. CATTEL [SIC]

The funeral of Mrs. Annie Cattel, whose death we announced last week, was held at the South St. Petri church Sunday afternoon, Rev. Heimarck officiating.

The deceased was a daughter of Severt Larson who for many years lived on his farm a mile and a half west of the Center schoolhouse. She was married six years ago to Norman Cattel [sic] of Ames and has lived in Seattle, Wash., ever since. Three children came to bless this union, a girl 5 years old, a boy 3 years old and a infant daughter, who with the husband survive to mourn the loss of a loving mother and wife.

Mrs. Cattel's father and sister, Mrs. Lyon, had also been living in Seattle and they accompanied the remains for burial. The husband and children also came here and will remain over winter with Mrs. Cattel's mother in Ames.

Death came very suddenly to Mrs. Cattel. She had been in her usual health up to a day or so before her demise. Death was due to some sort of kidney trouble. She died on her birthday, Nov. 2, the day she filled her 28th year.

Mrs. Cattel was of a loveable disposition, quiet and consecrated to her family and her God. She has many friends here, as well s in Seattle, who mourn her sudden departure. Besides her father and husband, she also leaves four brothers, namely, Iver, Gus, Lewis and Henry Larson.
