OBITUARY

George Bonde was born in Denmark July 21, 1878. When two years of age he was brought by his parents to America, locating at Story City, Story county, where his aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jens R. Bonde, still live. His youth and early manhood was spent in this city where he was well known and loved.

The deceased was baptized and confirmed in the St. Petri Lutheran church of Story City where his membership remains.

Mr. Bonde was married to Miss Mildred Ethel Berry March 26th, 1913. The deceased was a member of a large and influential family well known and respected.

The members of his parents family are as follows: Robert J. Bone, Washington, D. C.; Mrs. W. D. Kauffman of Des Moines who was present at the funeral, Rev. Hans Bonde of Loma Linda, Cal.; Richard Bonde of San Fernando, Cal.; Mrs. F. E. Conrad of Des Moines; Mrs. George Eaton of Des Moines who was present at the funeral; Mrs. W. L. Kramme of Oskaloosa, and Mrs. M. H. Clough of Riddelvale, Canada.

The deceased met his death in an auto accident about six miles from his father-in-law's home. The auto ran into a snow drift and was overturned and he was struck in the temple, causing death instantly.

The time of his pilgrimage was 35 years, 3 months and 6 days.
