Nevada Resident Dead. Special to Times-Republican.

Nevada, July 14--A. B. Griffith, an aged resident of this city, died at his home on First avenue yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock and the funeral will be held from the home Wednesday afternoon at 1:30, after which the body will be taken to the Mullen settlement cemetery for internment. The old gentleman, who for many years was a resident of Warren township, moved to Nevada this spring but a few days ago suffered a paralytic stroke and his death was expected. He leaves his wife and several children. He was one of the pioneers of the north part of Story county, coming here in the early day from the east.
