STORY CITY PIONEER DEAD

Mrs. B. T. Holm Passed Away Last Sunday

The funeral services for Mrs. B. T. Holm were held from St. Petri church in Story City Tuesday afternoon, Rev. J. N. Anderson officiating. Mrs. Holm passed away at her home in Story City on Sunday, August 3, being almost 59 years old at the time of her death.

Olena Jorgenson was born in 1865 in Story City, her parents being Jacob and Margrethe Jorgenson, early pioneers of this community. On November 2, 1893, she was united in marriage to B. T. Holm. They lived in Roland for several years after their marriage, later moving to Story City.

Besides her husband, she leaves three children to mourn her loss, Sherman, Olive and Margaret. She also leaves three brothers, martin and Herman Jorgenson of Story City, and Albert Jorgenson of Des Moines, and four sisters, Mrs. K. S. Olson of Kenyon, Minn., Mrs. W. E. Erickson of Story City, and Anna and Ellen Jorgenson of Des Moines.
