Rites Tuesday for Mrs. Child

Mrs. Harriet Child, 60, 1315 Kellogg Ave., died about 2 p.m. Sunday at Mary Greeley Hospital where she had been a patient for the past month.

Born near LeGrand, she had been employed at Iowa State University for 14 years.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; a son, Royal Dunkin of Newton; two brothers, William Dunkin of Ames and Eugene Moore of Compton, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Sanford Wetteland and Wanda Morr, both of Ames, Mrs. Everett Algyre of Pomona, Calif. and Mary Jane Fink of Newton and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Home. The Rev. Milton Dowden, pastor of Campus Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial is to be in Ames Municipal Cemetery.
