MRS. FATLAND LAID TO REST
The Funeral, Held From the Lincoln Church On Wednesday, Very Largely Attended.
From the Lincoln church last Wednesday afternoon occurred the funeral of the late Mrs. Carl Fatland. The services were in charge of her pastor, Rev. Duea, and there was a large crowd present. Special singing by the choir and a vocal duet by Mesdames M. S. Heggen and A. L. Peterson were in keeping with the impressive sermon. Relatives and kind friends contributed many sweet floral offerings. Burial was made in the Slater cemetery.
Deceased was born near Slater on July 10, 1876, her parents being Severt and Malinda Nervig. She grew to womanhood in this community and on February 17, 1898, was married to Mr. Ole Walker. To this union were born three children--Severt, Marie and Sadie, all of whom survive her. Her husband passed away July 19, 1904. Her marriage to Mr. Carl Fatland took place January 30, 1908. This union was blessed with one daughter, Miss Ruth, now thirteen years old.
