Valdjer Gravdahl, for Many Years an Inmate at Clarinda, Buried Last Friday.

Huxley, Oct. 28:--The words were spoken at the Palestine cemetery Friday forenoon which consigned the remains of late Valdjer Gravdahl, an inmate of the asylum at Clarinda, to their last resting place. She died at the hospital on Wednesday and the remains were shipped to Cambridge in care of Attorney Keller of Elkhart, her guardian. Funeral was held on Friday forenoon, conducted by Rev. Shefveland.

Valdjer used to make her home with her parents Shur Gravdahl and wife two miles east of Huxley till eight years ago when she was sent to Mt. Pleasant for treatment, she having been of feeble mind for many years precious. After a stay of several years at Mt.Pleasant she was transferred to Clarinda where she passed away. She is survived by several relatives. The brothers, apprised of her death, arrived on Friday evening but too late for the funeral.
