OBITUARY.

From the Bethlehem church last Thursday afternoon took place the last sad rites over the remains of Mrs. Lena Sunnes, the services being in charge of Rev. Duea. Miss Ruth Halverson sang "Vi Skal Saave" and Miss Ella Maland, "Den Store Hvide Flok." Many friends and acquaintances were present. Burial was made in the local cemetery. Deceased reached an age of over 75 years. She was Norway she was married to Ingebrit Torresdahl, who died shortly afterwards. In 1889 she came to America. In 1896 she was married to Andrew Haavick, an immeser in the Lutheran church. He died in 1903. In 1912 she married Sjur Sunnes, a retired farmer. He passed away in 1916. The last years of her life were spent at the home of her only son, Bert Torresdahl, at Stanwood, Iowa, and it was at his home she passed suddenly away on March 27th. Brief funeral services were held from the Lutheran church at that place on Wednesday, after which the remains were shipped to Slater for burial.
