Obituary.
HALL:--Mrs. Ella Hall wife of Albert L. Hall, died at her home three and one half mile north of Slater, Iowa, at 6:30 Wednesday morning, May 14th, 1890, with Consumption. Age 30 years.
She leaves a husband and two small children, a boy and a girl, age 4 and 6 years respectfully. Her funeral took place at Kelley, Iowa, Thursday morning, Rev. Wilson of Ames, officiating. A large concourse of people were in attendance at the funeral, denoting the high esteem in which the deceased was held. Her remains were taken to Ontario, Iowa, and interred in the cemetery at that place, there to await the glad morning of the resurrection.
Her sickness dates through a period of about one year but few thinking until the last few days of her life that she was near her Heavenly home. During her last days on earth, she frequently remarked to those around her that she was content to leave this world for a better.
She was an affectionate wife, a loving mother, and held high in esteem by her neighbors and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
The sympathy of the entire community is with the sorrowing husband and two little children who are thus bereft of a companion and mother.
