The Death of Ole P. Frovick.

About noon on Friday, May 15th the soul of Ole P. Frovick, passed over the river of death, from consumption, after a long and painful illness, aged 46 years and three months.

The deceased was born in Skjold, Stavangers Amt, Norway, February 15th, 1850 and emigrated to America in 1865, and has been residing at different place in Iowa since.

He was married on May 25th, 1874, and leaves a wife, and two brothers, Lars and Eric Frovick, living east of town, to mourn his death.

The funeral occurred Monday afternoon, short services were held at the home in Sheldahl, after which the remains were taken to the Lutheran church in Slater of which he was a member. Rev. Svingen, delivered a beautiful discourse.

Interment was made in the Slater cemetery. Inspite of the inclement weather quite a large number of people cam out to manifest their respect for the deceased.
