In Memoriam.

Our community was greatly shocked at the death of Oley Cleveland, which took place last Monday forenoon after only a short illness. The funeral services was held at the Congregational church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Svingen, also Oley Nelson made a brief speech in the english language. His remains was laid to rest in the Slater cemetery. Mr. Oley Cleveland was born in Skjold, Norway, twenty-eight years ago, emigrated to America with his parents while a young boy, and he has passed the greater part of his life in this immediate vicinity, was well known and highly respected by his friends and neighbors. He was ill but three week's and everything in medical skill was done to retain the loved one, but he passed away triumphant in death. A large concourse of people followed the remains to the last resting place. He leaves a father, mother, two brothers and a sister to mourn his departure.
