Lincoln Township.

On June 10, 1897 Miss Rosa Lehmann died, aged 15 years. Deceased was born in Polk Co., Ia. The home that was so cheerful and happy a few days ago is now filled with sorrow and bereavement. They cannot think of her who had gone as passed away forever, yet it is true. Earth contains but few home whose magic circle remains unbroken, some loved one having passed away from among them and left a vacant chair and sorely aching hearts. She leaves a father, mother, two brothers, two sisters and a host of friends to mourn her loss. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. F. Mosebach. Interment at the Lincoln township cemetery June 12.

Tis hard to break the tender cord
When love has bound the heart;
'Tis hard, so hard to speak the words
We must forever part.

Dearest loved one, we must lay thee
In the peaceful grave's embrace.
But the memory will be cherished
Til we see they heavenly face.
