Obituary.

Jacob Donald, little son of Lisle G. and Agnes Jess-Scott was born May 18, 1910. After fourteen days of intense suffering from that dread disease so fatal to children, departed Sunday morning, Aug. 14, 1912, aged 2 years, 2 months, 16 days. All that loving hearts and kind hands could do was done but all efforts failed and nothing was left but to submit to the will of an all-wise and loving father. His sweet face and sunny disposition son for him the love of all who knew him.

His little life although so brief leaves in our memory all that is pure and innocent and makes our desire the stronger for that happy reunion that awaits. He leaves father, mother and baby sister and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. The funeral was held from the Christian church Monday at three o'clock, conducted by Rev. H. G. Hicks of Yale. Interment was made at the Maxwell cemetery.
