TOMLINSON, BRUCE WAYNE (1948-2004)

THE TRIBUNE July 29, 2004. “BRUCE WAYNE TOMLINSON – Oct. 10, 1948, July 20, 2004. Bruce Wayne Tomlinson, of McAllen, Texas, died Tuesday, July 20, at Comfort House in McAllen. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 30, in Cambridge Cemetery with military rites by the American Legion in Cambridge. Bruce was born Oct. 10, 1948, in Iowa Falls. He was involved in management, including bowling centers in McAllen and Weslaco, Texas. He served as a sergeant in the U. S. Army from 1967-69, and served in Vietnam from 1968-1969. He received numerous service medals, including the Purpoe Heart. He is survived by his wife, Victoria (Branchaud) Tomlinson of McAllen; one son, Paul Wayne Tomlison of Ames; his parents, Paul and Dorothy Tomlison of Mission, Texas; one sister, Treva S. Reed (Douglas) of Spanish Fork, Utah; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
