Funeral Services Are Pending For Mrs. Steigerwalt

Funeral arrangements are pending for Mrs. Sam (Florence) Steigerwalt, 78, 1342 H Ave., who died at the Story County Hospital at 2:30 this morning. Her illness covered a period of the last three years although she had been hospitalized for cancer only the past month.

Mrs. Steigerwalt is survived by her husband, Sam, 2 sons, William and Robert, both of Anaheim, Calif., and 2 daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Hayden of Arlington, Va. and Mrs. Betty Hastings of White Plains, N. Y. Six grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

Florence Perkins Steigerwalt was born in Taylorville, Ill., July 31, 1884, the daughter of W. A. and Nancy Cramblitt Perkins. She was married to Sam Steigerwalt in Council Bluffs Nov. 8, 1908. They have made Nevada their home since July 11, 1911. She was a member of the Nevada Methodist Church.
