Funeral Services Will Be Thursday For Randolph Gross

Randolph E. Gross 414 K Ave., died Monday, Aug. 20 at 3:40 p. m. at the Story County Hospital, where he had been admitted after suffering a heart attack at 11 a. m. at his home. He was 71 years old.

Gross was born June 9, 1891 in Story County, the son of Edwin and Esther Gross. He was a retired farmer, and had lived his entire life in Story County.

He was married Feb. 6, 1915 to Mae Scott in Illinois. He was a member of the A.F. and A.M. Masonic Lodge in Colo. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mae Gross, two sons, Curtis Gross, Nevada and Rex Gross of Colo, and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at the Ryan Funeral Home Thursday at 2 p. m., with the Rev. James Dendler officiating.

Burial will be in the Colo cemetery.
