Last Rites Here For Mrs. Danskin

Funeral services for Mrs. Ernest Danskin were held from the Ryan Funeral Home March 4 at 2 p. m. with the Rev. Hackbarth of the Memorial Lutheran church officiating.

Many beautiful floral offerings surrounded the casket in addition to a number of offering to be given to the cancer fund.

The casket bearers were: Charles Hostetler, Wesley McDaniel, John Picht, Ralph Picht, Charles Roadenizer and Paul Thomas.

Burial was in the Colo cemetery.

Obituary

Mrs. Rose Danskin was born Dec. 29, 1978 at Sycamore, ill., the daughter of Anton and Dora Maier Bahr.

She was married to Ernest Danskin Feb. 1, 1911 at Colo, Iowa by Rev. W. R. Manning. Her survivors are her husband Ernest Dankin and daughter Ruth (Mrs. Morris Johnson of Nevada), a brother Harry Meier [should be Maier] of Lehigh, two sisters, Mrs. Dora Blakely of Marshalltown and Mrs. Carrie Moritz of Olds, Alta., Canada.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.

Relatives coming from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Maier of Lehigh, Mr. and Mrs. Orval York of State Center, R. E. Childs of Marshalltown and Mrs. Miriam York of Melbourne.
